House Reed

Greywater Watch is roughly located in the swamps of the Neck, southwest of Moat Cailin. It is built upon one of the weird islands that float in the swamps, making it impossible to find, even for the crows, thus, there is no master there.

Greywater Watch is ruled by a friend and companion of Lord Eddard, Lord Howland Reed, the only man beside him to survive the combat between Stark’s men and three members of the Kingsguard. Lord Eddard credits Reed with saving his life from Arthur Dayne. Since the day of that war, Lord Reed has never left the Neck.

Their banner is a black lizard-lion on a green field.
